Blends for Scorpio and Spring using Black Pepper, Coffee and Tuberose

Oct262024

It's warming up and it's time to create some fun recipes in time for Christmas!

Here are some recipes to soothe your nerves and stimulate your senses.  Below you will find some blends that you can add to your bathing routine, body care products or diffuser, as well as my favourite, the sniffy stick.

I love Sniffy Sticks as they are easy to carry around in your bag, and your kids can take them to school or carry them in their pocket because they're not glass like a rollon.

Summer fun always includes bumps, bruises and sore muscles.  This blend will help soothe all of the above.

Aches & Pains Blend, 50ml
6 drops Black Pepper essential oil
9 drops Ginger essential oil
5ml Infused Arnica oil
45ml Apricot Kernel oil
1 x 50ml bottle

Blend and apply gently as required.

You can use any vegetable oils you have handy, these are my preference.

Here's my yummy Vanilla Latte Body Butter for Summer that I used to make back in 2010

Vanilla Latte Body Butter, 100gm
3 drops Benzoin essential oil
1 drop Vanilla essential oil
2 drops Roasted Coffee essential oil
100gm Amor Body Butter Base
1 x 100gm cosmetic pot with caseal cap

Soften your body butter over a low heat, stir in your essential oils, pour into your pot and for best results, leave to infuse for 24 hrs.

Apply as required, great for elbows and knees!

Here's an easy Floral Perfume to create.  You can add this to perfume base, or jojoba oil.

Floral Harmony Blend

2 drops Lemongrass essential oil
5 drops Grapefruit essential oil
3 drops Tuberose essential oil
3 drops Bergamot essential oil
2 drops Oakmoss essential oil

Blend the essential oils together in your bottle and slowly add your preferred base.
For best results, leave to infuse for 7 days before use, shaking daily.
