Hayfever Support Sniffy Tubes & Mist Spray

Asthma and Hayfever are common complaints in NZ, mainly because we are a narrow country constantly exposed to wind changes flicking the pollen this way and then back that way! 

And Sniffy Sticks are a great way for your kids to help relieve their symptoms as they can take them to school or carry them in their pocket.

How best to use them?

Blend essential oils in blending bottle and add drops to one end of the cotton wick as per recommendations below and seal in tube.

Insert inhaler gently in nostril, and press finger against other nostril to close it.

Inhale gently, then swap sides and repeat.

Use 2-4 times a day.

Stop using if headaches occur!

Dosage:
1 drop Children aged 2-5,
2 drops Children aged 5-8
3 drops Children aged 9-13, Pregnant Women and Elderly
4-7 drops 13+

for children who get anxious with hayfever, add 7 drops of petitgrain to the blend, it helps to calm them whilst smelling nicer up their nose.

Children's Nasal Sniffer for Hayfever (over 2s).

4 drops of Eucalyptus radiata oil
5 drops of Chamomile Roman oil
5 drops of Kanuka oil

1 blending bottle with dripulator (18mm neck)
1 Empty Nasal Inhaler Tube with cotton wick

Children's Nasal Sniffer for Hayfever (over 5s).

4 drops of Eucalyptus radiata oil
4 drops of Lavender Mt Blanc oil
2 drops of Peppermint oil

1 blending bottle with dripulator (18mm neck)
1 Empty Nasal Inhaler Tube with cotton wick

Soothing Mist for Hayfever, 50ml (over 2's)

10ml Myrtle Floral Water
40ml Chamomile Roman Floral Water
50ml bottle with Mist Spray cap

1. Sterilise bottle and cap with sterilizing solution. If diptube needs cutting, do this before sterilizing.
2. Add floral waters to sterile bottle.
3. Close with sterile cap.
4. Label your product.
5. Close eyes and mist over face to relieve feelings of stuffiness and scratchy eyes.

Soothing Mist for Hayfever, 100ml (over 5's)

10ml Myrtle Floral Water
40ml Labdanum Floral Water
50ml Sterilised Distilled Water
100ml bottle with Mist Spray cap

1. Sterilise bottle and cap with sterilizing solution. If diptube needs cutting, do this before sterilizing.
2. Add floral waters and sterile distilled water to sterile bottle.
3. Close with sterile cap.
4. Label your product.
5. Close eyes and mist over face to relieve feelings of stuffiness and scratchy eyes.

This blend can also be added to a Nasal Spray applicator bottle if the nose feels like it needs some internal relief.

I recommend our hdpe bottles for this mist spray as they won’t smash if dropped and hold up well to essential oils. Available in Amber, Blue and Frosted.
