Eucalyptus radiata naturally grows in South-Eastern Australia which has a rough fibrous,flakey bark on the trunks, with smoother wood on the branches with narrow lance shaped grey-green leaves. |
Aromatic Description: |
When opening the bottle you get a fresh, peppery camphoraceous odour that has a pleasing citrus top note and isn't overwhelming like some other Eucalyptus species. |

Common Uses: |
Best known for its use in the Respiratory System as a decongestant, Eucalyptus is fantastic for bronchitis, flu, otitis (inflammation of the ear), rhinitis and sinusitis and can be used as an inhalation or added to a cream or balm and massaged into the affected area.
Eucalyptus is not as well known for its use with the Nervous System to relieve headaches, neuralgia, sciatica, herpes (including shingles, cold sores - combine with Bergamot), delirium and exhaustion.
Or in the treatment of bites, stings, burns, blisters, cuts and wounds in Skincare. However, it is often used in commercial repellents and comes well recommended in this area.
Eucalyptus radiata is also highly recommended in muscle rubs for sore and aching muscles - whether due to overexertion, rheumatism or flu/virus, making it ideal for Winter Sports Season to help keep away cold & flu viruses as well as relieving muscular aches and pains.
