Beeswax - Cosmetic Grade

Beeswax is a natural substance obtained from the honeycomb of the honeybee.  However, not everyone wants a natural from the bee yellow wax in their product so we have Cosmetic Grade Beeswax in an easy to use pellet form that is a blend of beeswax and fatty acids.

Physically it is an almost white, hard wax (free flowing pastille) which forms non-ionic, oil/water emulsions of good stability and colour, and is used as a thickener, emulsifier or stiffening agent in various cosmetics, without changing the desired finished colour.

Cosmetic grade beeswax is an excellent choice as a hardener in lip glosses, lipsticks, eye and lip pencils and mascaras.

Manufactured in Germany

It is an ideal base for balms, as long as the recipient doesn't have a bee allergy.  This one has a higher melting point compared to yellow beeswax at approx 60°C.

USAGE: Approximately 2-5% of your formulation. Use in the Oil Phase.
