Description: A yellowish-green to olive-green liquid with a sharp, fresh, citrus aroma.
Major constituents: A typical chemical composition of Cold-Pressed Lime Essential Oil:
a-pinene (3%), b-pinene (18.2%), sabinene (3.2%), myrcene (1,2%), limonene (42.7%), g-terpinene (7.4%), terpinolene (0.5%), trans- a-bergamotene (0.6%), caryophyllene (0.5%), b-bisabolene (1.0%).
Indications: Cold pressed lime oil may be used in a massage oil, vaporiser or bath to help relieve nervous tension, unrest, irritability, restlessness, stress and mild anxiety.
Emotions: The fresh citrus scent of lime is purifying and enlivens your senses. It encourages awareness, clarity of thought and are emotionally invigorating.
Directions: Adults: Add 5 drops to an oil vaporiser or 2 drops to every 10ml carrier oil. Children: Half the adult dose.
Safety: Cold pressed lime oil should not be used topically in the presence of UV light ie. sunbathing, sunbeds – may cause photosensitivity.
