The lovely part of Spring is babies!  I’m a grandmother to 6, all in the UK, so I’m always keeping myself updated with what’s new in the world of health science for bubbas.

Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming trying to decide which oils to have so Amor’s own essentialz Baby Care Kit for Baby's 1st Year takes away the guess work for you.
Chamomile German, Chamomile Roman, Eucalyptus radiata, Lavender, Mandarin, Red Thyme and Yarrow essential oils. 

The kit comes with a leaflet with recipes on how to help your baby with everyday problems of baby life—nappy rash, cradle cap, croup, etc.

Here’s one of my recipes for you to try.

Nappy Rash Prevention oil

15ml (1 tbsp) Grapeseed Oil
15ml (1 tbsp) Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 drop Chamomile German essential oil
1 drop Lavender essential oil

Combine all ingredients in an amber glass or hdpe plastic bottle and shake well before use.

Apply sparingly to baby’s bottom at each nappy change after cleaning the area first from the last nappy.  Be careful not to get to close to baby’s urethra—it won’t sting but a sensitive wee soul may find it irritating.

Ideal for around the legs and waist area of the nappy where redness can occur.

If you can afford them, organic oils are great, otherwise you can buy Grapeseed and Olive oils at your local supermarket.
