Amor Haircare - Soothing Base Oil Blend

Gently soothing and healing whilst feeding your scalp!

This nourishing oil blend complements my Hair Care Blends, or a selection of your own essential oils.  Each oil has its own properties to gently calme, soothe and nurture your scalp as you go through the healing process..

With Omega 3, 6 & 9 essential fatty acids for feeding your skin.

• Apricot - a rich moisturising oil that is high in oleic (omega-9) and linoleic acid that is easily absorbed by your skin and aids in keeping it supple.
• Avocado - is rich in vitamins A and D, as well as lecithin, potassium and omega-9 fatty acids. This combination of properties makes avocado oil a delightful skin food.
• Evening Primrose - is rich in GLAs and omega-6 fatty acids, is easily absorbed, and improves the condition of your skin and hair.
• Hypericum - is useful for the treatment of skin inflammations, rashes, open cuts and grazes, and is particularly soothing to inflamed nerves, making it helpful for the temporary relief of neuralgia, shingles, dermatitis herpetiformis and sciatica, as well as being an excellent massage oil base for the treatment of psoriasis and eczema.
• Jojoba, organic - rich in vitamin E and is a unique liquid wax used as an oil. Furthermore, it has a stable, long-lasting penetrative nature. Jojoba has a very close chemical composition to the skins own sebum.
• Tamanu - a treat for your skin with its ability to help clear pustules due to its antimicrobial activity against bacterial and fungal infections, whilst it boosts your immune system repair and regenerate skin tissue due to the calophyllolide constituent which significantly demonstrated a faster wound healing properties through its anti-inflammatory activity in clinical trials.  Added bonus is it has sun protection factors.

To use:
Massage Oil - apply 1-2 x day by gently massaging the areas of your body which you are treating and directing the strokes towards the heart as this helps improve circulation.

Roll On / Pulse Point - add to a roller bottle, and apply to desired areas without getting your hands oily... a great option for work and travel.  You can do this with our 10ml and 50ml roll-on bottles.
