Amor Babycare Teething Relief

A gentle moisturising blend to help ease Baby’s discomfort

Teething is an exciting phase of growing up... grizzly babies not so much! This blend is soothing and anti-inflammatory and helps ease the discomfort of the teething process.

• Chamomile German - is one of the most gentle essential oils around, and helps relieve pain and discomfort.
• Chamomile Roman - is a mild sedative, and helps with dispersing grumpiness when they're feeling sensitive and sore.
• Yarrow - has anti-inflammatory properties that are from a different chemical composition than the Chanomiles, so rounds out this formula nicely. It's also recommended for rashes, and teething can sometimes cause a skin rash.
• Interestingly, on an emotional level, Yarrow is recommended for emotional support during life's big changes... and teething is definitely one of those!
• Amor grapeseed oil base - the gentlest carrier oil available with no known sensitivities or allergies which will also soothe and moisturise baby's sensitive skin.

How to use: I recommend applying this after your child's bath as that is when the skin's natural acid mantle has just been disturbed which will help this oil be quickly absorbed and utilised within their body.

For Babies 2-12 months (5 - 10 kg) - apply approximately 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) directly to the skin 2-3 times a day, preferably 8-12 hrs apart.

For 13 months - 5 years (10 - 13 kg) - apply approximately 1/2 - 1 (2.5-5 ml) teaspoons directly to the skin 2-4 times a day, at least 4 hours apart.

Comes packaged in a frosted hdpe plastic bottle with a black disc cap.  1 ml dispensing pumps are available if they are your preferred option.

We started teething very early... he was born with a bottom tooth, and another was right under the surface and receded, and reappeared when he was 3 months old.

That was our easy introduction to teething... The rest made their presence felt and luckily for me, The Oil Company had Yarrow available so I had this blend created for us.

Mums in my baby group used it too, and that's how I found out it worked for ear ache, as my little man never suffered from it... maybe that's because I used this on him?
