to help re-balance your body physically and emotionally after pregnancy
A gentle, caring, blend to help rebalance your body physically and emotionally after all the stress it's been through.
Having lost several bubbas, I also recommend this for mum's who have experienced a miscarriage or stillborn babe, which is when this was first formulated, as well as using it after my son was born and I was experiencing post-natal depression.
- Clary Sage - a gentle oestrogenic action via the pituitary gland, therefore hormonally balancing, as well as being a uterine tonic to help pull everything back into place (and shape if you're really lucky).
- Geranium - hormonally regulating and balancing via the adrenal cortex, stimulates the lymphatic system which will assist in reducing fluid retention, relieves stress & nervous tension, depression, headaches & anxiety, and assists with rebalancing any skin conditions due to hormonal fluctuations.
- Jasmine - highly recommended for nervous anxiety, restlessness and depression, particularly if those feelings revolve around relationships and sex which is common after having a baby. Aids in post-natal recovery of the uterus, and assists with delayed and painful menstruation.
- Rose - assists with the body regulating itself after pregnancy, and at the same time is emotionally reassuring and helps to dispel frustration, anger and confusion – some of the feelings experienced after a birth. Rose is a wonderful oil for women who have previously suffered from miscarriage and/or still-birth.
- Ylang Ylang - uplifting, reassuring, balancing, loving and caring, helps to connect with the essence of being feminine.
- Amor Bath Salts Base - safe for all skin types and allergies, a blend of natural salts that are gently soothing and healing for your battered feminine zone.
To use:
Bath Soak - add 1 - 3 teaspoons to a warm bath and relax in this gentle, caring, rebalancing blend for as long as you want.
Presented in a blue glass jar with a black lid.
This formulation had its origins from The Fragrant Pharmacy and I had it made up for myself after losing my first child. I enhanced it as the years and baby losses went by and bathed in it a lot after Kyle was born as my hormones and emotions were all over the place.
