Description: Kunzea is an Australian native that grows naturally in the southern regions of Australia. It is a tall tree with small white flowers growing up to 5 m. It is also referred to as ‘Tasmanian Spring Flower’ by the cut-flower industry.
Aromatic Description: When opening the bottle you get a fresh, invigorating scent with a slightly spicy aroma.

Common Uses:

Kunzea's analgesic properties have been used to help ease pain associated with headaches, insect bites, minor burns (think sunburn) and recurring shingles (so should also work for dermatitis herpetiformis).

It comes highly recommended for pain relief for arthritis and soft tissue injuries.

 

Kunzea's chemical properties show that it can help treat eczema, dermatitis, rashes and leg infections.

 

With long Covid, this is being added to blends to help the absorption of the other oils, giving them synchroncity.

 

Emotionally, it can help provide temporary relief for mild anxiety, nervous tension and stress.

Skincare / Perfumery:

Helps ease sensitive and inflamed skin, so ideal for those who suffer from facial dermatitis and acne for young males with their facial hair.

Not commonly used in perfumery.

Best form of Application:

To skin - Massage, compress, bath, ointment, skin care

Inhalation – direct inhalation, sniffy tube, diffuser, oil vaporiser

Kunzea is cooling and indicated for hot inflamed conditions.
