Synthecol BT is a mild foaming biodegradable amphoteric alkylbetaine surfactant that is used when making your own shower gels and shampoos. It is a gentler alternative to SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulphate) and contains 30-32% Lauryl Betaine, 64% water, with the remaining 4-6% being the catalyst low DCA monochloroacetic acid.
It has a pH around 7.0 and usage is 15-50% of your recipe.
Low allergen and safe for babies, however like all soaps, it will irritate if it ends up in the eyes.
