Oxides and Ultramarines are matt pigments that form the deeper base colours used to make colours for cosmetics and paints.
Oxides tend to be flat, Ultramarines are more vibrant. You can blend them to create any base colour you want, and you can add Titanium Dioxide to make them lighter, Black Oxide to make them darker.
Cosmetic oxides are now manufactured in laboratories to prevent cross-contamination of other minerals like cyanide.
