Introduction to Creams and Lotions - Auckland

If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your own creams, balms and lotions in a physical workshop rather than doing it yourself online, this easy 4 hr course will get you started in the wonderful world of of making your own lotions and potions, whether it's for your business or as gifts for loved ones.

This basic course is to help you master the skills of creating a balm, cream, ointment, and lotion, and understanding the chemistry between them.  With these base recipes you can go on to create a facial moisturiser, body lotion, lip balms/tints in pots or tubes and a body massage bar in your own time (recipe booklet provided). 

In this half day workshop we will cover 

• How to use different ingredients, vegetable oils, essential oils, and plant extracts.
• Therapeutic Uses of the ingredients
• Safety Factors.

9.30am – 1.30pm (however if you have a group of 4 we can arrange a date to suit)

Tools of the Trade: Everything is isupplied by Amor, however you might want to wear clothes that you don't mind getting oil on incase it splashes whilst blending.

Your investment: $150+GST and a certificate on completion.

Morning tea is provided - all allergies catered for, please advise when booking. (my home is dairy and nightshade free as I am allergic to both, and have a low gluten diet.).

Location: Red Beach / Silverdale, Hibiscus Coast, Auckland (in a pet-free environment)

Class Size: minimum 2 - maximum 6 people (which gives you lots of 1:1 time with me!)
