Geranium Bourbon (Pelargonium graveolens) from Egypt is a lovely green floral scented oil that helps regulate sebum production, as well as assisting to regulate your hormones. Emotionally, it’s a refreshing antidepressant and is very helpful for anxiety, acute and chronic.
Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum) from India. Known as the King of the Oils, Jasmine adds a touch of luxury to this blend with its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and skin healing properties, as it helps keep your skin keep its balance and looking lovely. Jasmine is also wonderful at lifting your mood and decreasing stress levels, as well as helping you to overcome a lack of confidence. And an Aphrodisiac to boost!
Ylang Ylang Complete (Cananga odorata) from India has an intense floral aroma with sebum balancing properties, as well as being a mild astringent. It’s also wonderful for your scalp so you can add it to jojoba oil and use this blend as a scalp treatment. Ylang ylang also has the wonderful ability to lower cortisol levels inducing calm, and lowering high blood pressure, and improves one’s sense of feminity.
How to use? Add 15 drops to 30ml of vegetable oil and gently apply to your skin. After 15 minutes tissue off the excess. If you like to wear makeup during the day, this blend is best applied at night. You can also add this blend to water to create a mist spray, to apple cider vinegar to create a toner, to your moisturiser and to your cleanser. I do recommend you do not exceed the ratio of 15 drops per 30ml, otherwise your skin could become sensitive to this blend with long term use.
