'aromas of Egypt' Pulse Point Perfume

Escape to the land of the Pyramids with the exotic aromas of blue lotus and saffron!

I created this blend for my friend Liz who loves all things Egyptian for her 60th Birthday.

I've never been to Egypt, however I was given a bottle of Kyphi by my mother over 30 years ago after her trip so have always been fascinated by the perfume industry there. I still have that bottle and it still smells amazing!

So how did I know which oils to use?  I have 4 books on perfumery that I've collected over the years, along with some amazing history books that go into the agriculture of early civilisations, and this is an idea that has been playing in the back of my mind for years... ever since I was lucky enough to receive 2 boxes of rare oils which included Blue Lotus, Saffron and Amber.. so here is my first in this series!

I will admit this is a variation of the exquisite blend I created for Liz, because that's special for her ... however the heart and soul of this blend is here for you to enjoy too.

In true perfume style I created my accords (base, heart, top notes) and then blended them together.   This exquisite blend which Liz assures me is just like being in Egypt is a blend of 12 pure essential oils from the ancient texts of Egypt.

• amber, bitter orange, blood orange, blue lotus, cardamom, cinnamon, jasmine, frankincense, saffron, sandalwood, sweet basil & tuberose,
• in a meadowfoam seed & organic jojoba oil base (if you have a seed allergy let me know and it will be made with nut and seed free oils.

Packaged in a roller ball in a box.
