Due to the impact of the gut microbiota on the immune system, the probiotic strain Lactobacillus salivarius LS01 has been studied for its ability to restore balance to the immune system and address the underlying cause of mild eczema. Clinical trials have shown this specific probiotic strain helps to reduce many of the symptoms of mild eczema, including itchiness, and reduce the occurrence of symptoms in children and adults.
